1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of GearLink ("the App"), operated by [YOUR BUSINESS/LEGAL NAME] ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What the App is

The App is a tool for managing your own work. The App is not a shop. We do not sell products, take payment, or fulfil orders. Any purchases, pricing, quotes, and payments relating to your work happen outside the App.

3. No affiliation with third parties

The App is an independent tool. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any supplier, retailer, or other business you may deal with in the course of your work. Any names, images, or information shown are indicative only, are not guaranteed to be accurate or current, and do not constitute an offer to sell.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including not to: use it unlawfully; upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content; attempt to access other users' data; or interfere with the App's operation.

6. Content you submit

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant us a licence to use that content solely to operate the App and provide it to you.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the App available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App or features at any time.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the App, including any inaccuracy in information shown, any dealing between you and a third party, or any unavailability of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

10. Complaints and reporting a problem

If another user of the App behaves abusively, sends you unwanted contact, or misuses your information, tell us — look for Report a problem. The person you report is not told that a report exists, or who made it.

We review reports and may suspend or remove an account. We aim to respond within 5 business days. You can also email us at [CONTACT NAME / EMAIL].

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
